St. Alban’s 95th anniversary banquet and silent auction Oct. 22

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in New Brunswick will celebrate its 95th anniversary with a Banquet and Silent Auction on Oct. 22 at the Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel, 515 US Highway 1 South, Iselin. The event will start at 7 p.m., and will feature door prizes and a silent auction.

The event, themed “Onward and Upward …. On Christ the Solid Rock We Stand,” honors four friends and members of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. They are Crystal Anderson Singleton, Daphne V. Johnson-Jones, Mariam Merced and James H. Simmons, Jr.

St. Alban’s has served as an anchor of stability in the local community, operating a weekly Food Pantry and Thrift Shop at the church, located at 148 Lee Ave., New Brunswick.

Tickets are $75 per person, and are available in advance only. No tickets will be sold at the door.
