Christopher Bellanova of Allentown was among the cadets in Band Company at the Citadel, Charleston, South Carolina, who were recognized for their performance during parade and squad drill performance. Band Company has been awarded the Commandant’s Cup for the 2015-16 school year. The Commandant’s Cup is awarded to the company that earns the highest points for parade and squad drill performance.

Anne Lee of Millstone Township, a student at Denison University, Granville, Ohio, and a graduate of Allentown High School, was chosen as a 2016 summer research scholar in a program funded by the Gilpatrick Initiatives Fund. Anne was one of 107 students who spent their summer conducting in-depth research projects at Denison or off campus. The faculty-led programs include undertakings in the sciences, humanities, social sciences and the arts. Anne worked with Professor Jenna Monroy and Andrew McCall on a project titled “Understanding the Relationships Among Shallow and Deep Reef Fishes.”

Joseph Mangrella of Millstone Township received an undergraduate certificate, majoring in victim services administration from the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences at the University of New Haven, West Haven, Connecticut.

Connor Monroe of Millstone Township received a bachelor of science degree, majoring in business management with a concentration in business management – general, from the College of Business at the University of New Haven, West Haven, Connecticut.
