Cheers to Ana Navarro
for schooling her own squad. The GOP strategist has become the pundit of the moment with her colorful takes on the presidential race and a smackdown of fellow CNN commentator Scottie Nell Hughes that was the kind of TV we can only describe with the P-word: perfection.
Cheers to NBC
for cutting Billy Bush. Less than a week after the world got wind of Billy Bush’s 2005 “locker room” brofest with Trump on an Access Hollywood bus, the Today coanchor was sent packing without so much as a Tic Tac-flavored kiss goodbye.
Jeers to NBC
for sitting on their own scoop. According to sources, the net stalled on releasing the Bush-Trump recording for various legal reasons, leaving it to The Washington Post to break the story and make NBC look a tad shady in the process.
Jeers to the debate broadcasters
for not pulling the plug. While it’s easy to blame moderators Lester Holt, Anderson Cooper, Martha Raddatz and Chris Wallace for failing to shut down the long-winded candidates, it would have been even easier to fix their filibustering by simply cutting the pics when they ran on and on and on.
