The League of Women Voters of Monroe Township will hold its annual Holiday Happenings Luncheon social beginning at noon Nov. 14 at the Cranbury Inn, 21 S. Main St.
The festivities will take place shortly after Election Day. Guest speaker Ingrid Reed will offer a talk titled “2016 Is Over: What’s Ahead for New Jersey in 2017?” Monroe’s longtime environmental commissioner John Riggs, who will retire at the end of the year, will be honored. Cost is $32 per person.
