LAR Enterprises keeps the music alive

Doo Wop promoter extraordinaire, LAR Enterprises, proud member of the Doo Wop Music Hall of Fame, brings the magic and the music of Holiday Doo Wop to the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank on Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.

Holiday Doo Wop fans will be treated to a star-studded lineup featuring The Duprees “You Belong To Me”; Herb Reed’s Platters “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes”; The Original Chantels “Maybe”; Kid Kyle “The Diary” and A Cappella by Classic Sounds.

The show is hosted by Cool Bobby B of Sirius Radio 50’s on 5.

LAR presents another event at Count Basie Theatre on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 7 p.m. An Evening of Old-Time Doo Woop Volume 6 features The Coasters “Poison Ivy”; The Legendary Teenagers “Why Do Fools Fall In Love”; Jimmy Gallagher & Passions “Just To Be With You”; Jimmy Clanton “Venus In Blue Jeans”; John Kuse & The Excellents “Coney Island Baby”; The Jarmels “A Little Bit of Soap”; The Fireflies “You Were Mine”; Johnny Farina of Santo & Johnny “Sleep Walk and Jimmy Charles “A Million to One”.
