The Sadie Pope Dowdell Library, 100 Harold G. Hoffman Plaza, South Amboy, will host its annual Holiday Open House 4-8 p.m. Dec. 5. A program for all ages, “MIY (Make It Yourself),” is set for 4-6 p.m. Holiday festivities including music, door prizes and refreshments are planned for 6-8 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Millennials ages 18-34 are invited to join a hands-on cooking class 6:30-8 p.m. Dec. 13 at the library. Participants will learn how to turn simple ingredients into fast and tasty appetizers and desserts.
