Monmouth Medical Center will present the Community Health Education Program “Frankly speaking about lung cancer” workshop from 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the DoubleTree Hotel, 700 Hope Rd., Tinton Falls.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death and the second most common cancer among both men and women. Attend this free workshop to learn about the latest treatment methods for lung cancer. Expert panelists, Subroto Paul, MD, MPH, director of Thoracic Surgical Services, RWJBarnabas Health and Seth Cohen, MD, Regional Medical Director, Oncology Clinical Research, Monmouth Medical Center, will discuss side effects, side-effect management, and tools to overcome the social and emotional challenges of the diagnosis.
