Long Branch Library offers homebound delivery services

The Long Branch Free Public Library announces delivery of library materials to the doors of homebound Long Branch residents is available with the Homebound Library Service Program.

Library staff will deliver books, magazines, music and movies to those who are homebound due to illness, disability or age, and unable to physically visit the library. Patrons are able to choose their own titles or have staff choose for them using a reader profile. Residents will be considered homebound if they are permanently or temporarily (six weeks or more) confined to their homes due to illness, disability, or other medical issues. This service is being started with thanks to the NJ Foundation of Aging.
