American Legion Post No. 253 will hold its Raise the Roof New Year’s Eve Party Dec. 31 at the post home, DeVoe Avenue, Spotswood. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. for a cocktail hour with open bar. Dinner will be served at 8:30 p.m. The party will continue to 1 a.m.
The event will feature the cocktail hour, appetizers, a buffet dinner, beer, wine and soda, a champagne toast at midnight, a balloon drop, door prizes and entertainment by a DJ. Guests must be age 21 or older.
Cost is $50 per person, in advance. Tickets are limited; only 100 will be sold. If still available, tickets at the door will cost $60 each. Proceeds will go to help put a new roof on the legion home.
