Hazlet Recreation Summer Day Camp is a six-week program held in Veterans Memorial Park. Camp starts July 3 and ends Aug. 11 and it runs from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m.
The camp is co-ed and serves children currently in grades K-7. Children in grades 8–11 can apply to be a Counselor In Training.
Campers will enjoy daily swimming at the Hazlet Swim and Tennis Club, weekly trips, sports, arts & crafts, and theme days. Special on site events such as a game show and carnival are all a part of camp. Campers will eat lunch in an air conditioned facility and have the option to buy lunch or bring their own. All trips require an additional registration fee per trip. Anticipated trips include bowling, Funplex, movies, Medieval Times and more.
Attending Hazlet summer camp is a wonderful opportunity for children to keep their minds and bodies active. At camp kids will learn about nature, gain independence, develop new friendships and create wonderful memories.
