The Joslin Diabetes Center, an affiliate at Raritan Bay Medical Center, a member of the Hackensack Meridian Health family, will offer diabetes-education workshops titled “First Steps” 1-3 p.m. Feb. 7 and 9-11 a.m. Feb. 21 in Suite 420 of the Medical and Surgical Pavilion, 2 Hospital Plaza, at the medical center’s Old Bridge division.
The program will review the basics of diabetes self-management including blood sugar, hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, target ranges, foot care, medication and nutrition.
