Ocean resident Gross served as moderator for two panel discussions. He concentrates his practice in all aspects of New Jersey and federal environmental law. Bruno, Rumson, a member of the firm’s land use, real estate and development practice area, presented “90 Minute Law School for the Building Industry” at the seminar. Robins, Ocean, a member of the firm’s environmental law practice area, presented “Brownfields-Landfills and More.” He counsels clients in regulatory compliance, cost recovery litigation and transaction negotiation and risk analysis.

Magyar Bank, New Brunswick, celebrated the graduation of 19 members from its First Home Club at a recent ceremony. The Club – sponsored by Magyar in conjunction with the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, Somerset County Coalition of Affordable Housing, and the Housing Coalition of Central Jersey – is designed to educate low- and moderate-income families and provide assistance in the purchase of the family’s first home. Participants attend seminars during a 10-month period to learn about home buying, and upon completion, are eligible to receive up to $5,000 from the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York to assist in a down payment.
