Millennium Memory Care will hold a free support group discussion from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on March 1 to discuss the basics of understanding dementia, being able to read early warning signs of dementia, detecting disease progression and finding practical solutions for caregivers at 447 Matawan Ave., Matawan.
Strategies will be discussed by family members and caregivers of patients with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Topics will include support, safety, everyday care, adapting activities and planning ahead.
