Art Society of Monmouth County to present March, April exhibits

The Art Society of Monmouth County (ASMC) welcomes the public to attend its March and April art exhibits at the Middletown Township Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road.

The ASMC is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that aims to promote the education, development and appreciation of the visual arts throughout Monmouth County.

The anniversary art show, “Oldies but Goodies,” will be held from March 1-25, with a reception from 1-2:30 p.m. March 25. Event Chairperson Ken Klohn and Co-chair Ernest Antholis may be reached at 732-361-1195.

The Ruth Crown Memorial Art Show will be held from April 3-29, with a reception from 1-2:30 p.m. April 29. Event Chairperson Paul Clark and Co-chair Diane Steinmetz may be reached at 732-671-2208.

For both exhibits, judges will be awarding three prizes in the following categories: oil/acrylic, pastel, watercolor, mixed media and photography.
