The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County, 1775 Oak Tree Rd., Edison, will hold Live Well at the JCC — BeFit Strength classes with instructor Peggy Potter from 10:30-11:15 a.m. on March 2, 9, 16, 23 and April 6.
This class will help to tone, strengthen and improve balance with intervals of low- to non-impact movement using lightweights and bands. This whole-body workout will focus on cardio, strengthening and maintaining bone integrity to fend off osteoporosis.
Potter is a fitness instructor certified with the YMCA to be a group exercise instructor in the areas of cycling, cardio and step, strength and conditioning and Pilates. Come for a workout, have fun, make friends and get fit.
The cost is free for Community Campus members. A $36 Live Well at the JCC Membership for nonmembers entitles one to attend all Live Well at the JCC Wellness classes through June 18. Attendees must register for these classes.
