Vocalist and guitarist Ken Lelen will perform a concert titled “Juke Joint Jive” 2:30 p.m. March 11 at the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road.
Lelen will sing popular love songs from days of old and play vintage acoustic guitars that produce sounds authentic to the 1930s and ’40s. His “Vintage Music” concerts combine musical, historical and romantic programs with acoustic renditions of American swing and jazz.
The event is part of the library’s Second Saturday series of free concerts. Admission is free of charge; however, audience members are asked to bring a nonperishable food donation for the Old Bridge Food Pantry.
