Violinist Alexei Yavtuhovich and organist Shea Velloso will team up for a Music at St. Mary’s concert set for 4 p.m. March 26 at Saint Mary Church, 256 Augusta St., South Amboy.
The performance will include works for violin and organ by J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel and others. Yavtuhovich, a 21-year resident of Old Bridge, has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. Velloso is a regular recitalist throughout the tristate area and performs on public television and the “Pipedreams” radio show.
A wine-and-cheese reception will follow the concert. Admission is free of charge; however, a $15 donation is suggested to help fund the installation of the church’s pipe organ.
