The Tinton Falls Police Department will hold a food drive from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on May 10 at the Tinton Falls municipal building, which is located at 556 Tinton Ave.
Residents can drop off their donated food items at the municipal building.
The most needed items are apple sauce, brown rice, canned beans, canned fruits and vegetables, canned tuna, cereal, cooking oil, fruit juice, snacks, jelly, macaroni and cheese, pancake mix, pasta, shelf stable milk, spaghetti sauce, sugar, syrup, toiletries, baby food and diapers, and feminine hygiene products.
The food drive is a collaborative effort between the police department and the non-profit organization Lunch Break.
