To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the piano program at Red Bank Regional High School’s Visual & Performing Arts Academy, students will hold a Piano & Harp Concert on May 24 at 7 p.m.
According to a press release from Red Bank High, admission is $7 for students and seniors and $10 for adults.
At the concert, 10 piano majors will performing pieces from classical musicians such as Chopin, Beethoven and Bach, according to the press release. Seniors students will also perform “Legend of the Phoenix” by Olson as a quartet. Five harpists will play ensemble pieces “Allegro” by Suzuki and “Rondeau” by Mouret.
The piano majors performing at the celebratory concert include Evan Bardinas of Bradley Beach, William Casey of Red Bank, Jacqueline Conforti of Millstone, Anna Cuozzo of Little Silver, Andrew Hall of Little Silver, Pieter Lootsma of Little Silver, Elijah Nishiura of Red Bank, Griffin Perry of Little Silver, Salvatore Valente of Atlantic Highlands and Jalen Willis of Neptune City.
Harp performers include Alona Gerdes of Bradley Beach, Edith Hernandez of Red Bank, Charlotte Jansky of Little Silver, Adeline Monfil of Red Bank and Edith Torres of Union Beach, according to the press release.
