The South Brunswick Parent Academy will offer A District Symposium on Homework from 7-8 p.m. on May 30 at Crossroads North Middle School, 635 Georges Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
The symposium will provide a discussion of topics associated with homework, including the district’s current policy and guidelines, master scheduling and “open time” in a student’s day , required study halls , practices to assist in positive coordination of a busy schedule and the rigor of Advance Placement course requirements and its impact on students.
This workshop, designed for parents of students in all grades, will provide an opportunity for parents to not only offer suggestions for improving the educational experience of students, but offer their opinion as to what is working in this regard, as well.
Childcare will be available for children age 3 and older.
