Students at Our Lady of Peace School in Fords work on making St. Patrick’s Day cards for residents of the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park in Edison. Eighth-grader Stephen Parente, not pictured, has logged more than 115 volunteer hours toward his confirmation service hours at the home, and was set to deliver the cards in time for the holiday.
