Elvis trivia, movies offered at South Brunswick Senior Center

 

The South Brunswick Senior Center will mark the 40th anniversary of the passing of Elvis Presley with a week of special events to honor the King of Rock and Roll.

On Aug. 7, Elvis trivia will be held at 10:45 a.m., an Elvis movie will be shown from noon to 2:20 p.m. and an Elvis concert film from 1968 will be shown from 2:20-3:45 p.m.

A video showing a behind-the-scenes tour of Graceland will be held from 12:15-1:15 p.m. on Aug. 8.

Mike Holland will portray the Elvis of the late 1970s from 12:15-1:15 p.m. on Aug. 10 dressed as the King himself, singing familiar Elvis songs.

The Senior Center is located at 540 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick. The Elvis events are open to senior members age 55 and older. For more information, call 732-329-4000, ext. 7682.
