Lincroft church will hold jazz evening concert

Lincroft Presbyterian Church will hold “A Time for Everything Under Heaven,” 7:30 p.m., March 1, at 270 Everett Road.

The event will benefit Family Promise of Monmouth County, the only shelter for homeless families with children in Monmouth County.

Reservations are recommended.

Musicians slated to accompany John Morrison, a trumpeter and the church’s choir director includes: Pianist Timothy Broege, a nationally renowned composer and music director at Belmar Presbyterian Church; Guitarist Doug Clarke, an in-demand jazz sideman, and a prodigy of Tal Farlow; Drummer John Gronert who has performed with The Drifters and Darius Brubeck, and was a student of Joe Morello and Sonny Igoe; String Bass and Guitarist Robert Marriner who has played with the Platters, Little Anthony, the Duprees and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
