More than 50,000 people in more than 80 communities across the nation will join the National Alliance on Mental Illness to raise awareness of mental illness and funds for local, regional and state NAMI organizations on May 19.
The NAMI NJ Walk will be held at the Boardwalk at Seaside Heights.
Check in is from 9-9:45 a.m. The walk starts at 10 a.m.
The first 200 walkers who check in on walk day will receive a wristband that grants access to free muffins catered by Donna Hairston, CEO of Grandma’s Hands Catering out of Monmouth Junction, South Brunswick. Gluten free and vegan options will be available.
