Woodbridge will hold an Overdose Awareness Walk from 4-8 p.m. on May 12 at Alvin P. William’s Memorial Park, Cliff Road, Sewaren section of Woodbridge.
A candlelight vigil will remember those lost to an overdose.
Early bird registration is $5 by May 11. Registration on the day of is $10, and begins at 3 p.m. One hundred percent of proceeds will benefit a scholarship for those with a substance abuse disorder.
There will be free refreshments.
