MARLBORO – Journey to a magical underwater kingdom where the beautiful young mermaid Ariel (Alyssa Kiselev) longs to leave her ocean home and rise to the surface to explore life above the sea.
King Triton (Alex Postovskiy) rules the underwater kingdom and is the controlling father to seven mermaids. Ariel, his youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric (Josh Holtzberg) and bargains with the evil sea witch Ursula (Sierra Bonilla) to trade her tail for legs.
She is joined by Sebastian (Danielle Lirov), an adorably anxious crab and sidekick to Ariel, who calls upon her friends Flounder the fish (Julia Munk) and Scuttle the seagull (Sydney Katz) to restore order under the sea.
All of these characters will be seen in the Marlboro Memorial Middle School’s upcoming production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Jr.”
