HOWELL – Investigators are trying to determine how a man died after he was found in the parking lot of Home Depot, Route 9, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced.
Howell police officers responded to a 911 call at 1:31 p.m. March 30 after an individual reported seeing a man lying on the ground in the home improvement store’s parking lot at Route 9 south and West Farms Road.
Authorities said Weldon Spaulding Jr., 61, of Tinton Falls, was pronounced dead at the scene. As of April 2, results of an autopsy were pending.
