The final South Brunswick Parent Academy workshop for the school year, “Hidden in Plain Sight,” will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on April 16 at Crossroads North Middle School, 635 Georges Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
The workshop is presented by a former DEA officer and Monmouth University Professor of Criminal Justice, Douglas Collier, on how children can hide drugs, alcohol and other substances, in their rooms, cars, etc., often right under the noses of unsuspecting parents and adults.
Due to the nature of the topic, no one under 21 years old will be admitted to the workshop.
As with all SBPA workshops, the workshops are free of charge and childcare can be provided for children over 3.
Registration can be done at www.sbschools.org, by clicking on the Parent Academy Information bullet under Quick Links. Walk ins welcome.
