After 44 years as rabbi at Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple in New Brunswick, Rabbi Bennett Miller will retire at the end of June.
Miller, a native of Rochester, New York, is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. He earned a Master of Arts and Hebrew Letters from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati where he was ordained a rabbi in 1974. He also earned his doctorate from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1988. In March 1999 he was awarded a Doctor of Divinity Degree from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. In 2008, Miller earned a certificate in non-profit management and fundraising from New York University.
Upon his retirement, Miller will become Rabbi Emeritus.
