A rally that dew an estimated crowd of 150 in front of the Witherspoon Grill in Princeton on the evening of June 14 was assembled to oppose the separation of children from their families at the United States/Mexico border.
The organization, Families Belong Together, which led the rally, declared that it is determined to fight back against “cruel, inhumane and unjustified separation of children from their families along the U.S. border and other points of entry.”
According to its website, familiesbelongtogether.org, the organization “opposes the inhumane policies of the Trump administration, Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and calls for immediate reform.”
