I have known Barry Jacobson, who for 15 years has tirelessly volunteered for the betterment of Manalapan. Barry has been an involved resident for 23 years.
From the day he moved in, he has been an active volunteer/member of the Transportation Committee and Manalapan Arts Council, the economic and environmental committees, and the zoning and planning boards where Barry has assisted in shaping the many businesses and recreational facilities we see and enjoy all around Manalapan.
I am proud to serve with Barry on the Manalapan County Committee, District 8, where Barry and I actively reach out to recruit new residents to become part of the township volunteer system to better serve all the residents of Manalapan bipartisanly.
I know a vote for Barry will ensure a path to decreasing the heavy reliance on property taxes with a push to make Manalapan’s commercial tax rate more viable. Barry will continue to partner with Monmouth County for increased shared services.
The unfunded state mandates issued by the governor and Legislature seem to increase annually and our Township Committee is always looking to grow shared services. Barry will continue to dedicate himself for the benefit of every Manalapan resident. Please give him your vote on Nov. 6. Thank You.
