Four seats on the nine-member Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education were on the ballot on Election Day, Nov. 6.
Four current members of the board ran unopposed to continue their service on the panel.
Freehold Borough representative Heshy Moses received 9,597 votes from voters in Freehold Borough and Freehold Township to win another three-year term.
Manalapan representative Jennifer Sutera received 9,125 votes from voters in Manalapan and Englishtown to win another three-year term.
Peter Bruno, who is one of Howell’s two representatives on the board, received 11,979 votes from voters in Howell and Farmingdale to win another three-year term.
Englishtown representative Diana Cappiello received 9,330 votes from voters in Englishtown and Manalapan to win a one-year unexpired term.
The election results were posted online by the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office. The results are unofficial until they are certified by the county. The board members’ new terms will begin in January.
The school district has eight sending municipalities – Colts Neck, Englishtown, Farmingdale, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Howell, Manalapan and Marlboro, and operates high schools in Colts Neck, Freehold Borough, Freehold Township, Howell, Manalapan and Marlboro.
