Jersey Shore Association of Human Resources, a human resources organization that provides two annual scholarships to support its commitment to education and the advancement of the human resources profession, has awarded two Ann C. Edwards scholarships. Amanda Gallomardo of Manalapan received $1,000 toward her college studies at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Conn., where she is enrolled as an accelerated bachelor/master’s program in occupational therapy. Amanda is the assistant chair of Sisterhood Development for the Phi Sigma sorority. She is the daughter of JSAHR member Lisa Wheeler. Sandra Shea of Freehold received a $500 JSAHR member scholarship to complete her professional certification through the Society for Human Resources Management. Shea, who will be certified in February, serves on the JSAHR Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She is the human resources and benefits manager for Freehold Cartage, Freehold.
