The Old Bridge Library will present programs on healthcare topics this month at the library.
The library is located at 1 Old Bridge Plaza, at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road, Old Bridge.
Preventing Healthcare Fraud will be at 2 p.m. on April 15. This program will focus on how to avoid falling victim to Medicare scams. It will explain how to identify deceptive health care practices, how to protect personal identity and how to identify and report errors on health care bills. Presented by New Jersey Senior Medicare Patrol at Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County.
Medication Management will be at 11 a.m. on April 25. This session will explore how to take control of prescriptions and suggest simple strategies to help manage them and keep them organized. Presented by Hackensack Meridian Health. Registration required.
Effective Doctor Visits will be at 11 a.m. on April 29. It will provide helpful tips on how to prepare for a doctor visit, provide tools for smooth and effective communication with physicians, and how to best follow-up after appointments. Presented by Horizon BCBS of NJ. Registration required.
