Summer camp at Middletown Arts Center geared toward enriching children’s lives

This summer, children age 4 and older can enroll in a variety of summer camp experiences focusing on the creative and performing arts and various STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) offerings at Middletown Arts Center. The camp offers both half day and full day options. A free and supervised lunch is offered to children attending both a morning and afternoon session. Before and After Care is also offered for working parents.

“I am extremely proud of our Summer Camp Program that has grown considerably over the past decade,” said Maggie O’Brien, the MAC’s executive director. “We are honored to have been nominated as one of the Best Arts Camp by Jersey Arts and we are excited about our 2019 curriculum which includes several new components, including expanded performance opportunities and new camps for older students.”

Our main goal for the summer camp is to enrich students’ lives with various offerings ranging from arts and crafts to dance and musical theater, to computer coding and video game design, while having fun in our state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility. Our caring and talented instructors ensure that campers have an awesome time while they get creative.

Campers do not need to be Middletown residents to attend the program. A complete list of the center’s programs can be found at www.middletownarts.org. Space is limited and camps fill up quickly.

With summer only a few months away, it’s time to set sights on how children will spend their time off from school.

The Middletown Arts Center is located at 36 Church St., Middletown. For more information, visit www.middletownarts.org.
