The Manalapan Police Department reported the following incidents occurred in the township:
• On April 7 at 6:37 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Elizabeth Place to investigate a report of vandalism. A resident reported that sometime between 12:45-5 p.m., an unknown individual damaged the rear bumper of his vehicle by cutting it with an unknown device. The repair of the damage was estimated to cost $300.
• On April 7 at 3:40 p.m., a resident of Newark reported her wallet was stolen out of a stroller while she was shopping at the Englishtown Auction Sales, Wilson Avenue. The wallet contained $1,000 cash, credit cards and a driver’s license.
• On April 6 at 4:45 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Forest Drive to investigate a report of vandalism. A resident reported that sometime between 11 p.m. April 5 and 4:45 a.m. April 6, an unknown individual threw eggs at his home and vehicle.
• On April 5 at 11 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Ronald Court to investigate a report of vandalism. A resident reported that sometime between 3 p.m. April 4 and 10:30 a.m. April 5, an unknown individual damaged a vehicle by scratching the paint on the driver’s side doors and the passenger side doors.
• On April 1 at 10:15 a.m., a resident reported an incident of vandalism. The resident told police that on March 31 between midnight and 8 a.m., an unknown individual dented and
damaged a mailbox at a home on Eliot Road.
