Sydney R. Garofolo of Freehold was among 16 members of the University of Scranton, Pa., Class of 2019 who graduated from its Business Leadership Honors Program. Students in this program explore the basic theories and concepts of leadership through special seminars and courses in management, ethics, strategy and analysis, in addition to field trips to learn from top executives and projects in leadership, service and mentoring. Sydney graduated magna cum laude, she was the recipient of the Excellence in Operations Management Award and she earned a bachelor’s degree in operations and information management. She served as a Student Government senator, chair of the Athletics Programming Committee and as a Royal Ambassador. Sydney will work at Barnes and Noble as a sales and operation integration planning analyst. She is a graduate of Freehold High School, Freehold Borough.
Monica Masterson of Freehold graduated from the University of Rochester, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences: cell and development. She graduated summa cum laude. Monica is the child of Margaret Masterson, and is a graduate of Communications High School, Wall Township.
