Mainstream Recovery will provide training for peer recovery specialists from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 3, 4, 10 and 11; and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 24 and 25 at the Woodbridge Health Center, 2 G. Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge.
The intensive training academy focuses on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from addiction.
You do not need to be in recovery to attend training.
Registration fee is $750. Must be present for all 46 hours of training. Group rates are available.
Registration deadline is July 29.
