South Brunswick expects thousands to attend National Night Out event

The South Brunswick Police Department will hold its 36th annual National Night Out event from 6-9 p.m. on Aug. 6 at Rowland Park, 235 Broadway Road, South Brunswick.

The 2019 event will have carnival rides, bounce houses and attractions for children, with games and prizes for children and adults alike. Free hot dogs, soda, chips, ice cream and popcorn will be available while supplies last.

Displays from the township police and fire departments, first aid squads and the FBI will be present.

The South Brunswick Township Municipal Alliance will sponsor its Community Unity Pavilion with displays from community organizations.

Radio station WMGQ 98.3FM will broadcast live.

Thousands are expected to help South Brunswick residents and police officers join together to help deter crime. Carpool if possible.
