The South River Board of Health and People For Animals will present a program on Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return programs for humane community cat management from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 at the South River Library, 55 Appleby Ave., South River.
Topics include feral cat history and behavior, best practices for humane trapping, pre- and post-operation care, how to safely use a box trap and divider, the basics of caring for community cats, and how to build good community relations.
A donation of $5 is requested.
