The East Windsor Regional School District will begin registration for kindergarten students in March.
To enter kindergarten next fall, children should be 5 years old on or before Oct.1, 2016. A birth certificate must be presented to verify the date of birth. Families will also be required to submit proof of residence.
Registration will be held at the East Windsor Regional School District Office of Community Services, 384 Stockton Street, Hightstown. No appointments are necessary during the times below.
Dates and times are as follows, based on the first letter of the last name:
For GN Rogers Elementary School – March 1: A-H; March 2: I-P; March 3: Q-Z.
For PL Drew Elementary School- March 8: A-H; March 9: I-P; March 10: Q-ZE.
For Ethel McKnight Elementary School – March 15: A-H; March 16: I-P; March 17: Q-Z.
For WC Black Elementary – March 21: A-H; March 22: I-P; March 23: Q-Z.
The district intends that there will be a full-day kindergarten in the East Windsor Regional School District for September 2016. Information concerning full-day kindergarten or the need to open registration for Turning Point will be shared with the community through the district website, our community access TV channel as well as local newspapers.
