PRINCETON: Council to introduce budget that calls for tax increase

The Princeton Council on Monday is due to introduce a $61.9 million municipal budget calling for a roughly $110 tax hike at the average home assessment of around $810,191.
Town administrator Marc D. Dashield, addressing reporters earlier in the day, said budget expenditures are up about 1.2 percent. The town is adding three staff members, for recreation and open space maintenance. he said.
Council is due to adopt the spending plan in April, he said.
