Police reported four incidents of alleged driving while intoxicated in the last month. Two were on Feb. 18.
Sarah Wright, 37, of Robbinsville, was charged Feb. 18 after police talked with her in her vehicle on Hillsborough Road. Her blood alcohol content was found to be 0.17 percent, police said. She was also charged with having an open container of alcohol in her vehicle.
Also on that day, Martelino Hernandez, 38, of Hillsborough was charged with driving while intoxicated after his vehicle was involved in a crash on Route 206. He was charged with refusing to submit a breath sample, being an unlicensed driver and careless driving.
Burton Parks, 58, of Hammonton was arrested for DWI allegedly after police stopped his vehicle on Feb. 13 on Route 206. Police said they found his blood alcohol content to be 0.11 percent.
On Feb. 11, police charged Joseph Mazeika 3rd, 32, of Hillsborough with DWI after his vehicle was stopped by police on South Triangle Road. He allegedly fled on foot, but was found, arrested and charged with a total of 12 motor vehicle offenses.
He was also charged with obstructing the law, DWI in a school zone, careless driving, abandoning a motor vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle, having a suspended driver’s license, delaying traffic, having an obstructed windshield and failure to produce registration, insurance car and driver’s license.
In all cases, the accused was released pending a court appearance.
Police also reported two instances of alleged marijuana possession.
Nicole Petroni, 21, of Flemington was charged after marijuana was allegedly found Feb. 15 in the vehicle she was driving. She was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and failing to keep her vehicle’s lights in working order.
Andrew Whitman, 24, of Hillsborough was charged Feb. 5 with possession of marijuana after it was found in the vehicle he was driving. He was also charged with failing to remove snow from his vehicle.
Both were released and given a date to come to court.
