The Princeton Council is scheduled to vote Monday to adopt a $61.9 million municipal budget calling for a tax hike.
“I expect there’s going to be discussion tonight, both among council and from the public, on what this budget means, especially in terms of future years,” Mayor Liz Lempert told reporters at her pre-meeting press conference. “And so it’s going to be important for us to continue to look for other sources of revenue and to continue to look at expenditures.”
The budget calls for a $130 municipal tax hike at the average home assessment of $810,191.
