Cranbury Public Library plans special week of activities

The Cranbury Public Library invites the community to celebrate National Library Week, April 10–16, by visiting the library.
The library and staff strive to meet the needs of all its users. Staff members want to know what library services residents use and value, and what other services they would like to see in the library. There is a short survey that can be filled out online or in the library. Those that take the survey will be rewarded by either having library fines forgiven or having their named entered in a raffle.
To take the survey online go to www.cranburypubliclibrary.org and click on the survey link. You do not need to enter your name – just print the last page and bring it to the library circulation desk before noon on April 16 to receive your reward.
A handmade bookshelf quilt is now on display in the library. Residents have a chance to own it by having the high bid in a silent auction to raise funds for the new community library. Bidding closes at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 16.
Also on Saturday, April 16, join staff for “Breakfast at the Library.” Enjoy coffee, tea, or juice with bagels and muffins. Free tote bags will be available for the first 50 people in the door and chances to win one of several door prizes.
Local businesses helping sponsor this event include 1st Constitution Bank, Cranbury Pizza, Molto Bene Ristorante & Cicchetti Bar, Teddy’s Restaurant and Zenergy Wellness Center.
The library schedule that day includes the following programs:
10:00 a.m. – Trouble-Shooting your Computer with Joe Addonizio.
10:45 a.m. – Bob Bartoletti, former Cranbury School Superintendent, talks about joint school/public libraries.
