The 5th annual Souper Bowl of Caring, sponsored by the Central High School’s Model World Health Organization, will be held Friday, April 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the high school cafeteria.
Attendees will enjoy a sampling of soups prepared by local restaurants and residents. Salad, bread and home-baked goods will be provided.
Proceeds will be donated to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen in support of its mission to feed those who are hungry in the Trenton area, as well as the Global Connections Foundation in support of the Children’s Nutrition Program in Kenya.
Paulash P. Banerjee from the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen will be the guest speaker.
A $6 donation will be collected at the door.
