Candidate Laurie Poppe, a Democrat running for Hillsborough Township Committee, will hold a beach-theme fund-raising party on Saturday, June 18.
The “Poppepalooza” will be held from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 276 Long Hill Road. There’ll be beer, wine, water, popcorn, tortilla chips, a DJ and surf music by the group Bong Surf.
The cost is $50 per person made out to the Campaign to Elect Laurie Poppe.
Attendees can bring a picnic basket and lawn chairs or blankets. Shade will be provided under a 20-by-40-foot tent.
There is no rain date.
