WILLIAM G. CASTELLANO JR., 64, of Millstone Township, died July 29 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in Jersey City and had resided in Wall Township before moving to Millstone 20 years ago. A graduate of Kean College, Union, Mr. Castellano was a teacher in the Freehold Regional High School District for 35 years, retiring in 1993. His most recent teaching position was at Marlboro High School. He was a member of the National Education Association; the New Jersey Education Association; the Monmouth County Education Association; and the Freehold Regional High School Education Association, where he was a former president. Mr. Castellano was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Surviving are his wife, M. Lynne Yates Castellano; three sons, William G. III of Atlantic Highlands, Richard of Birmingham, Ala., and Scott, at home; a daughter, Jill, at home; his mother, Margaret Flora Castellano of Park Ridge; a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
