— Knapp’s Cyclery Orioles defeated Kuppek Landscape Red Sox, 8-7, with a comeback in the top of the 6th. Jay Swindale had 4 RBIs and a 2-run homer for the Sox. Dhruv Indelicato pitched 2 strong innings for the Sox, striking out 5 of 6. Cole Garrow scored 3 runs for the Orioles. Tim McKweon had the game-tying 2-RBI hit for the O’s.
— Applebee’s Phillies rang up a 13-3 “mercy rule” victory in four innings over the Mets on Monday. The Phillies posted 5 runs in the first. In the bottom of the first, the Mets struck back with a two-run homer by Dylan Eng. The Phillies scored six in the second.
— The Mets secured an 8-3 win over the A’s on Thursday. For the Mets, Tyler Hersh (3-3 with 3 RBIs and 3 singles) and Paul Myers (2 singles) led offensively. For the Mets, Dillon Eng struck out 6. For the A’s, Jared Greenzang went 3-3 with 2 RBIs on a double and 2 singles. Logan Bergner rapped two singles and RBI.
— The Orioles registered a 14-4 win over the A’s.
The game was tied, 4-4, when the Orioles pushed across 10 runs in the fifth to win by the mercy rule. Nick Tagliareni was 3-3, and Cole Garrow pitched a 1-2-3 inning to secure the victory.
— The Red Sox’s of Kuppex Landscaping beat the Mets of Hogan Self-Storage, 9-3. For the Red Sox, Jay Swindell delivered 2 doubles and 4 RBIs and struck out 3 batters in 2 innings. For the Mets, Dylan Eng went 2-3 with a triple and a RBI. Will Ryan pitched 2 strong innings.
— The Applebee’s Phillies beat the STS Tire Yankees, 11-7. For the Phillies, Jake Loughery hits a 2-run homer and a 2-run single. He also pitched 2 strong innings. For the Yankees Jared Sharp hit a home run and pitched 2 strong innings.
— The Hogan Self-Storage Mets beat the STS Tire Yankees, 9-4. For the Mets Paul Myers had 2 hits and scored 3 runs. Dylan Eng had 2 doubles and 2 RBIs. Kolten Moyer also had 2 RBIs for the Mets. Jeff Petronzini had a solo homer and scored 2 runs; on the mound he had 5 strikeouts for the Yankees. Bradley Shreve and Jarret Sharp scored for the Yanks.
— Four runs in the fifth inning by the Phillies provided the difference in a 5-1 victory over the Orioles on May 26. Jake Loughery struck out the side in the 6th.
— The interleague scrimmage between the Hopewell Valley Mets and the Montgomery Red Sox ended in a 7-6 victory for the Mets.
