HOPEWELL VALLEY AREA: Students gain college honors 

Three Pennington residents and one from Hopewell have been named to the dean’s list at Boston University for the spring semester.
Students recognized include Ellen C. Bartolino, Amanda M. Brancato and Brandon K. Luo of Pennington, and Claire E. Bejgrowicz of Hopewell.
Each school and college at Boston University has its own criterion, but students generally must attain a 3.5 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale), or be in the top 30 percent of their class, as well as maintain a fulltime course load.

John Iten of Pennington was inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta honor society at Curry College in Milton, Mass., in a ceremony on campus on April 5.
Lambda Pi Eta is a selective international honors society for undergraduate students in the field of communication. Students must have earned at least 60 credits (at least 15 credits in communications) and maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.25 (communication GPA of at least 3.4).
